Find out the model of your mobile phone using IMEI

Today I stumbled across this free service on the internet that will find out the model of your mobile phone from your mobile phone IMEI number, an IMEI is a unique identification code given to all mobile phones that connect to GSM networks, this IMEI contains a model id, manufacturer id and sometimes even the manufactured location id! - using this information you can figure out what the model of the device is.

You can find out your IMEI by simply looking at your phone information in the options of your phone, or simply dialling "*#06#" (star - hash - zero - six - hash).
